A good customer of Peak HiFi has just take delivery of his SMD Acoustics V2.0 incorporating the new improved idler disengaging system.
Chris came and listened to the V2.0 a few months ago and in his words "The first time I heard the V2.0 my jaw dropped and I had to have one asap!"
Chris wanted a custom version and we were happy to help: So serial no A0037 was to be all black apart from the fascia on the power supply which had to be anodised in titaniaum to match his Sugden amplifiers.
Chris upgraded from the Gyrodeck SE and we have transferred his Rega RB1000 from his Gyrodeck but his next upgrade is to add the SME V5 tonearm next year.
